First day of School

Cami started Pre-K this year, and Cassie started 2 year old pre-school. Last week was their first week and they both loved it.

Cassie was not so thrilled at the prospect of going to school on her first day (Tuesday) (but don't let the look fool you, it's all an act!)

A bribe with candy did the trick to get a cute picture!

My BEAUTIFUL Girls. I'm still in awe, almost five months later, that I have three kids and that they are such amazing and beautiful children. I can't believe Mike and I did this! There is no greater accomplishment on earth.

Our sweet Carter bug. Possibly the most laid back sweetest baby ever.

Our fireball, Cassie. She does everything with passion, from pitching a fit to cuddling.

And the queen bee. She is most definitely the oldest in this family and keeps the other two in line. I don't see this stopping. Ever.

Carter's (Parent) Dedication

Sunday we had Carter's parent dedication at Second Baptist Church in Griffin. This is a short ceremony where we as parents, and the church as a whole, agree to raise Carter in the church, and as a Christian. I love knowing we are giving her the moral and religious compass to start her life on the right path and know that Mike and I take this charge seriously and plan on doing so with all the girls to the best of our ability.

Introducing Carter Elaine Glover, born February 15, 2010 at 9:09 pm, weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and she is 18 1/4 inches long. It was a very quick and relatively easy (although slightly painful) delivery. Mommy is doing great. Carter is having some breathing difficulties and is spending some time in the NICU, but can't wait to go home and meet her big sisters.

Blogspot isn't cooperating at the moment, pictures will come as soon as it does!

Cassie's second birthday was today. We had her party yesterday. It was "Pancake and Pajamas" themed. We all had a wonderful time. I can't believe my baby is two!

33 week ultrasound!

Hi everyone :) I had a drs appt today, and it was the most amazing ultrasound I have ever had or seen. She was sucking her thumb and yawning throughout the whole thing. Even the tech was amazed at one point at how neat it was. You could physically see her thumb in her mouth and the sucking motion in her cheeks. It was really amazing to watch, and got me SO excited to meet this little girl. I can't wait to see how different she is from her sisters. She also has what looks like a very thick head of hair (at least something good is coming from the heartburn!). She looked beautiful (health wise) on the biophysical profile, she was doing her practice breathing, heart rate was 161, and was moving well. Amniotic fluid was above 8 (they want it to be above 5). I'm measuring a little big, but hopefully that will all even out and she won't be *too* big at birth!

The white spot on the right of the picture is the back of her head, covered in hair, the cool part to me is on the left side of the picture is her hand in the "OK" sign.

We had a wonderful day filled with family, fun, and food. The girls were much more in to it this year than in years past, and that made it a lot of fun for us. I hope you all had a great Christmas too.

The girls and I made Christmas Shirts the other day - they turned out adorable!They are reindeer, with their feet as the nose and the hands as the antlers.

We spent the day at the Rock Ranch in The Rock, GA last Saturday. The girls had a blast and Mike and I both really enjoyed watching them and spending the day as a family. We look forward to going again!

GIRL, Carter Elaine Glover.

We had an ultrasound today at 17 weeks and 6 days. She looked great, was moving around all over the place. I am amazed and in awe of what is going on inside my body right now. God is awesome that he created me to be able to form and carry another human life. It is unreal to watch the baby move on the ultrasound and know without a doubt that it is a baby in there, there is no way to deny it (even if I wanted to). Cami is beyond thrilled that she will be having another little sister, Cassie isn't quite sure what to think yet. Mike and I are both happy, albeit nervous for the teenage years in the Glover household. I know it is all in God's plan though and He will help us through the tough years that may be to come. Our girls give us such joy right now that we can't wait to meet Carter and see what she adds to our family.

We had another ultrasound on Monday and the baby looked great. Our last ultrasound was at 8 weeks 6 days, and this one was at 12 weeks 6 days. It is totally amazing to me the difference that 4 weeks makes. We went from looking like a blob, to looking like a real baby.

For the first time since the day we brought Cassie home from the hospital (which was technically the first snowfall for both of them) it snowed! By the time we left church there was a good covering on the ground and the snow continued to fall for the rest of the day. After naps we took the girls out to play in the snow for the first time.

Happy birthday sweet girl! One year ago today you came into this world screaming. Your daddy and I were instantly in love with you, and knew you were the perfect addition to our little family. New Years in Hilton Head

Mimi, Mike, and I took the girls to Hilton Head for New Years to spend the holiday with Uncle B and Aunt Melissa. We had a pretty good time just hanging out and relaxing. Mike played a round of golf, I caught up on some much needed sleep and the girls were just happy playing.

Christmas 2008

This year was Cassie's first Christmas. We started the holiday by having Uncle B, Aunt Melissa, Grandpa, and Mimi down for Christmas Eve church and dinner. Mimi made the girls beautiful hand smocked dresses.

We woke up Christmas morning and spent it as our little family of four opening presents. Cami LOVED tearing into all the wrapping paper. Cassie was didn't know what was going on but loved playing in all the paper.

Next, we went to Grammy and Papa's House for some breakfast and more family time with them, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Margaret, Uncle James, and Lindsey and Tanner.

The last stop on our Christmas tour 08 was Christmas dinner at Mimi's house.

All in all we had a fantastic Christmas.

We took the girls Trick or Treating tonight with a group of friends from our Sunday School class. This is the first time we have taken Cami. I am not sure she really understood what she was doing, but she loved the candy and both girls sure looked cute!

Cassie turned 9 months old on Friday. I can't believe how the time is flying. She had her well baby appointment today and weighs 17lbs 11 ounces and is 26 3/4 inches tall. She'll be a year old before we know it.

We went to Mike's alma mater's homecoming parade this morning at the University of West Georgia. We got to hang out with some of his fraternity brothers and watch the parade. Cami had a blast playing with a couple of the other little girls there and watching the parade. She really liked all the music and danced every time some drove by.
